Sight Seeing bus tour

All the Stops on our day long Sight Seeing tour on the big double decker bus

Here we are in wine country. We did some tasting here at Constantia. I loved that these bunches of grapes are shaped like Africa.

A few great views from the grounds of Constantia

Sitting up in the wine tasting area, girls have appletizers and us tasting some wine.

thanks girls for a little adult time and allowing us to taste some wine

waiting for the sightseeing bus

Here we are at the Birds of Pray. Mom you would have not liked it as you walked through the bird cages, you did not look in at them like in most Zoos. I loved the black swan.

As you can see with this photo we are on the path just steps from where all the birds are. Some were even flying over us

Hannah and the ducks. Neil she has been practicing talking like Donald Duck. She wants to be just like you

Just Hanging out with the Gorilla, nothing crazy

the kids were just amazed with this tortoise. Maybe because two others were mating, sorry not photos everyone needs privacy.

Here we are at the monkey house and we even made it for feeding time.

The gentleman in the blue shirt was the head monkey keeper. Before I knew who he was he told me to take the pony tail holders out of our hair, and i said no i think we should be good. Once people started feeding the monkeys they climb all over you and one took a pony tail out of another ladies hair. Note to self listen to the old guys. He was also there watching to make sure people stayed calm as the monkeys feed.

As you can see Mark and Hannah got right to it.
What a great experience for the girls and us

Hailey was not into feeding the monkeys but she sure liked this mom with baby on her back, this little guy is only 4 days old.

Another great photo by Hailey

This is another great area to stay in when visiting Cape Town

The Pier, it was a very warm day but the winds off the ocean made it cool for us Ghanian folk.

Not sure if the Captain went down with his ship. Things do not look good for this guy

We all had fun watching the seals swim around the marina

This man has trained the seal to take food out of his mouth. Pretty crazy thing to see when you are not at Sea World.
Of course he had his little can sitting out for donations.

Another great view on the trip. The white sand here reminds me of the Sand at Grand Beach in Winnipeg and for our American family the sand at Sea point in Florida.

The water was so cold here that getting up to your ankles was far enough. Mark compared the water temps to putting the docks in at the lake. This is there summer time.

The locals and tourists enjoying a little beach time. Of course being close to the pier comes some great fish smells

Once we left Hout Bay then we had a 45 min drive back along the costal Highway. It was breath taking especially driving along in one of the double decker buses sitting on the top taking in views like this all the way back to the water front.

Here we are at the Clifton beach area. There are 5 different beaches along this stretch. Here is where you will see the rich and famous in their fancy cars and million(s) dollar beach houses.

This is a great view as we look back at the beach area.
